Description: With their father away fighting in the Civil War, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy grow up with their mother in somewhat reduced circumstances. They are a close family who inevitably have their squabbles and tragedies. But the bond holds even when, later, men friends start to become a part of the household.

This story touched my heart I cried when Beth takes ill and dies and how Jo cuts her hair and sold it to help there mother get money to help there father that's was away at war but he had been hurt and needs his wife then there is Amy the little dolly who takes on the role of carer to her old great aunt and the two handsome guys next door how meg falls in love with the teacher and get married and has twins one girl one boy and how teddy fall for Jo but she ends up with and older man and it Amy who ends up with teddy they end up getting married also at the start of the movie Amy wanted to go to a party but was told no she got so upset with jo that she burn her stories in the end Amy gets in trouble at school and her teacher caned her on the hand so her mother takes her out of school altogether and jo help her learn a couple of years go by he great aunt has always said she was going to take her to Paris in the end she takes Amy that where she learns to paint and where her & teddy get together and jo goes off to learn and write she tried to get her work published but because shes a woman and in them times not many lady were writers most where men as she is trying to fight for her place she stay up all night writing little woman her book she end up falling in love with a professor who she gives her book to in the end she goes back home to help her sister with the twins the professor turn up with her book and he gets he's wires crossed think that teddy & jo got married and not Amy & teddy it's well jo is off looking at the house her great aunt gave to her in her will jo find out about the mix up and runs after him her she fixing thing it starts rain she tell him about the house and how she want to change it into a school and she asks him if he would like the job of teacher! I loved the book and I loved the movie old and new I just wished there were more of the great story more of the couples Teddy and Amy, Jo & The Professor, Meg & John with there two kids!!! I would give this movie a 5 star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
